Tischer at the CSD: More power for more adventure
Most powerful Ford Ranger, battery power and cab upgrade
Kreuzwertheim. Powerfully breaking out of everyday life and exploring off-road routes – pick-up campers enjoy this special freedom. They strive for their very own adventure. “Adventure2go” is therefore the motto at this year’s Caravan Salon on the Tischer stand. The cabin specialists will be presenting even more vehicle power and everything to do with comfortable living on the road in Hall 12, Stand B30.
In keeping with the leitmotif, Tischer has the new Ford Ranger in the bi-turbo version of the EcoBlue four-cylinder engine on the stand. The power pack replaces the 3.2-liter TDCi five-cylinder engine as the model with the most horsepower and delivers 213 hp to the road. Thanks to the ten-speed automatic transmission, diesel particulate filter and SCR catalytic converter, adventures with the Ranger can still be environmentally friendly. Naturally, Tischer has several cabs in its range to match the vehicle. However, power is not only needed under the hood, but also in the cabin – because without electricity, living comfort quickly becomes history. Since this year, Tischer has been installing powerful triple chargers as standard, which breathe new life into even the most exhausted on-board battery in record time. Thanks to a rated output of 30 amps, the battery charger manages a full charge within two to three hours. So nothing stands in the way of an energy-packed adventure with that little bit of extra living comfort. A new look in the window area gives the cabs an additional dynamic appearance: While the window panes are now supplied from the factory with an even darker tint, the window frames, which were previously always white, now shine in a modern silver-grey. The tinting has a positive effect on shielding against warm sunlight and prying eyes, while the new color ensures that the windows appear larger and, despite the frame, look as if they are made from a single piece.
But it’s not just in the pick-ups and cabins that power and dynamism will be a top priority this year. Peter Tischer: “We also have more manpower within our company. We have welcomed new employees in the installation and interior design departments as well as in the warehouse. This makes our processes more efficient and gives us room for further improvements to our cabin models.”
The Tischer service team will be available in Hall 12, Stand B30, to answer questions and discuss technical issues.
